Who is Xack?

Hello! My name is Xack Fischer. I am the co-founder of Rainworks (rain-activated art), and I produce a documentary web-series called Interesting People. Thanks for checking out my work!

Rainworks are invisible pieces of street art that only appear in the rain. The idea was conceptualized by my friend and creative partner, Peregrine Church, and we have been making rain-activated street art together since May 2014.

Interesting People

This documentary web-series has been my passion project over the past couple of years. I've gathered a collection of interviews from interesting people who are pursuing their passions, and edited them into short (1-3 minute) documentaries.

I've always loved hearing people talk about why they do what they do, and so I've been using these videos as a way to improve my own video-making skills while capturing a glimpse of the variety of amazing people that exist in the world. You can view the series on YouTube or Facebook.

Magic

I have always loved magic tricks. I have been practicing close-up magic since 2008, and performing professionally since 2012.

My past clients have included Microsoft, Amazon, Nintendo, Google, and many more. I've also had the pleasure of performing close-up magic for a handful of celebrities including Jane Lynch, Ken Howard, Marc Maron, Dan Harmon, and others.

If you would like to book me for a magic show, please email me at xackfischer@gmail.com

The Most Magical & Elaborate Marriage Proposal Ever

This was an amazing project that Peregrine and I took on in the fall of 2014. We were contacted by a stranger named Robbie, who wanted help proposing to his girlfriend in a surprising and magical way.

We pulled together all of our resources and arranged this elaborate marriage proposal involving a fake radio program, a magic show, a quartet, hidden cameras, Rainworks, and an undercover Uber driver. Check out the video to get the full story.

Floating A Bounce House On A River

Throughout most of my childhood, my mom's part-time business was renting out an inflatable bounce house named "Puff The Jump-In Dragon". When I turned 16 and got my driver's license, my first job was carrying on the family bounce house business.

Nearly a decade later (in August 2017), as a way to celebrate my 25th birthday, we attempted something we'd only ever talked about before: floating the bounce house on a river. Click here to see the full video.
